The “Youth with a Purpose” event on September 17, 2024, at St. Mark’s Church, Karachi, was a life-changing experience for many young people. The sessions and discussions helped them understand their faith better and find their purpose.
In the first session, Rev. Patres Younus talked about finding God’s purpose in life. Many young people shared that they had felt lost before but now wanted to follow God’s plan. Samuel, one of the participants, realized that he wanted to work in youth ministry. He felt inspired to take a leadership role in his church.
In the second session, Rev. Sunil Patres spoke about living with purpose every day. His message touched Anaya, a college student, who felt distant from her faith because of her studies. After listening to him, she decided to live her faith daily, in her studies and relationships. The group discussions helped young people share their struggles and learn from each other. Many said that this event encouraged them to make a difference in their families, churches, and communities.
By the end of the event, many participants felt stronger in their faith, inspired, and ready to live with purpose. Through worship, learning, and fellowship, “Youth with a Purpose” helped young people grow closer to God and understand how to live a Christ-centered life.
